Virginia and D.K. Ludwig Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Associate Director, Ben May Institute for Cancer Research

Dr. Greene will be the co-director of a new center for metastasis research housed in the Gwen and Jules Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery. Dr. Greene is internationally recognized for characterizing the important role female hormones play in breast cancer, and for the development of estrogen and progesterone receptor antibodies, which have had major diagnostic applications in breast cancer throughout the world.

Daniel K. Ludwig Professor
Chairman, Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology

Dr. Weichselbaum is a nationally recognized authority on the effects of radiation and on radiation therapy for cancer. He has recently performed pioneering research on the effects of combining radiation therapy of tumors with substances that inhibit the ability of a tumor to grow new blood vessels–a promising approach that is just beginning clinical trials. He will also be the co-director of a new center for metastasis research housed in the Gwen and Jules Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery.
